To protect your pet from contagious diseases, keeping essential vaccinations up-to-date is a must.

Some of our customers believe that their animal is protected even when it is only house bound however many contagious diseases are airborne and your pet could easily be exposed through an open window.

Dog Vaccinations

Essential Vaccinations for Your Dog

  • Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus. This combined vaccine is given in a protocol of combined injections 3-4 weeks apart.
  • Rabies. Rabies is a very dangerous virus which can be further transferable to humans; the result in mammals and humans is generally fatal. Rabies vaccination is a MUST for us to issue your animal with a pet passport.

Other Vaccines for Dogs

Other vaccinations we offer in our protocol and strongly recommend for any dog that has regular contact with the outside to consider the following vaccinations:

  • Leptospirosis. This bacterial infection is most prevalent in moist climates where there are areas of standing or slow-moving water. This disease can also be spread from animals to humans.
  • Bordetella Bronchisepticum.  Bordetella causes an extremely contagious upper respiratory infection. We strongly recommend this vaccine before your dog goes to a dog park, groomer, boarding kennel, doggie daycare or dog show.
  • Lyme Disease. A bacterial infection carried by ticks, this disease is extremely prevalent in certain coastal areas. This does not apply to UK animals.
  • Canine Influenza. This viral upper respiratory disease is relatively new however is spreading with an alarming rate.
  • Corona Virus. This virus infects the intestinal tract and is is a benign sister of Parvovirus.

Cat Vaccinations

Other Vaccines for Cats

  • Chlamydia. Chlamydia is a infection that causes severe conjunctivitis, severe ocular and upper respiratory diseases.
  • Feline Leukemia. Felv is a viral infection that is only transmitted through close contact, and this vaccine is strongly recommended for cats that go outdoors.

Currently un-treatable conditions

  • Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. This viral infection is only transmitted through close contact with other animals and has no vaccine available.
  • Feline Infectious Peritonitis. A viral infection most common in catteries and is almost always fatal, furthermore there is no vaccine available.

Rabbit Vaccinations

  • Myxomatosis. Myxomatosis is a highly contagious and often fatal infection. Symptoms include conjunctivitis followed by swelling of the face, the genital region and lumps on the skin.
  • Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (VHD). Caused by a calicivirus, the disease is highly infectious. The disease usually presents as sudden death, often with a bloody discharge from the nose or bottom.
